Birth of a crow

The book debut of author Jiří Vítovec Birth of a Crow

What is behind the strange behaviour of children in the correctional facility? Why was the medieval city gripped by fear of the approaching feast? Who owns the eyes peering into the darkness of the cave and what secrets does the mental hospital hold?

Four stories that are seemingly unrelated, yet in which the characters influence each other through their decisions. Four stories of people across time trying to achieve the common desire of every human being - a better life. But when their plans collide with the calculations of others, they must finally confront memories and desires they have long since buried. The events connecting these personal struggles create a new story in which the struggle for freedom, love, sanity and bare life takes on a different dimension. The Birth of the Crow is a book in which the main character plays second fiddle.
