Brotherhood of the Secret Graves

Criminal cases that shocked the republic

Since 1988, Colonel Valerián has been dealing with violent crime, especially murders that occurred in North Moravia. Some of his cases, however, have received national media attention - either because of the extraordinary brutality of the perpetrators (Valerián has several life sentences) or because of the mobility of criminals who had previously murdered in other parts of the country.

A book of narratives and memories of Col. Valeriana depicts twenty different cases, divided into thematic chapters. Like a proverbial red thread, the career and professional rise of a criminalist runs through them, from a typical beginner, helping experienced colleagues, through the first big case, to becoming the head of the "mordarta". Due to the narrator's profession and his life experience, the book has an exclusive character. Valerian's personal experiences with different types of killers, with whom he spent many hours during the preliminary proceedings, are extremely interesting.
