Call of Cthulhu Writings 3/I

The third volume of H. P. Lovecraft's collected fiction

This volume contains short stories and novels from the years 1926–1930, the author's most productive creative period.

Due to its length, the volume is divided into two parts. The longest fictional text, The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, is interrupted approximately halfway through, so that today's Lovecraft admirer can also experience the mood of a Weird Tales magazine reader in 1941, who at the time also found the novel split between two issues and had to wait a full two months for its continuation.

At the same time, the reader will also encounter the short story The Call of Cthulhu, which marks the beginning of the unceasing interest in Lovecraftian mythology that influences a new generation of authors who continue to develop Lovecraft's bizarre motifs.
