The author of columns and regular magazine features, three collections of anecdotes, a monograph about the actor and writer Pavel Bošek, a series of documentary films from his travels in Africa and the USA, and co-author of a book of interviews with the Nestors of Czech advocacy, among other titles. He translates books and plays from German. He is actively involved in folk music and is the author of about ninety songs, which are regularly performed at Balbín's Poetic Pub.
