Competence in education
The publication combines theoretical interpretation with a constant attention to practice. The authors draw extensively not only on Czech but also on foreign literature on the issue and draw on important international EU documents. For the first time, the issue of competences is treated here comprehensively, i.e. both in relation to school education for young people and in relation to adult education. The authors effectively use and link the concepts of pedagogy and andragogy. The book contains appendices with detailed overviews of key competences, models of managerial competences, etc.
