Ever since the young hatmaker discovered a hidden map in her father's rare telescope, she has been searching the streets of London by starlight, trying to uncover the truth about his disappearance.

Thanks to the map, she stumbles upon a secret society of mapmakers and discovers that the prominent crafting Guild families are not the only ones with magical abilities and ancient skills. Magic is all around, if you know where to look…
Danger lurks around every corner, and Cordelia must once again face a difficult task – to convince the feuding Maker families to join forces and together prevent Lord Mesmer from destroying the very existence of magic.
