Dad for all the money
In a new children's audio book, David Walliams without sentiment shows that life is not just black and white
In his tenth novel, David Walliams, again without sentiment, shows that life is not just black and white and, of course, his own brilliantly connects tragedy with humor.
Frank's father Denis made a living as a car driver. He was absolutely the best - the racetrack king. He had thousands of admirers. As he lifted the winning cups above his head, the crowds were mad and life was great. But after a nasty crash, the glorified hero became no one — zero. Frank and Dad were left alone, without help and without money, but in the dirty hands of the dangerous and heartless chief of the underworld of Mr. The Great and his minions. When Dad Denis gets into jail, only Frank believes in his innocence and tries to save him…
