Demons of the forest

The rainforest is said to be home to mythical creatures...

Professor Carter's expedition ventures into unexplored areas in the north of the Congo to scientifically investigate a strange natural phenomenon. The members of the expedition, along with soldiers assigned by the government to protect them from attacks by rebels and smugglers, venture into the depths of the rainforest. The professor and his friends have no idea that their armed escorts have their own intentions. Mythical creatures are said to live in the places where they go. Is their existence related to an unusual phenomenon?

This adventure novel takes us on an adventurous journey into the intriguing environment of the African jungle among dangerous creatures, into the beautiful countryside and onto the sacred land of the mythical king of the forest. This is the first book by the now established author Aleš Pitzmos, who first published it in 2008 under the pseudonym Alec Palmer.
