Ludva and Pavel continue their trips to their beloved Lake Basin, bringing rare saffron back to the town's pharmacist. However, they sometimes get the feeling that someone is watching them. On one of their expeditions, they discover a cave containing something that raises many questions. Who is the mysterious Raven? Who is signing sinister letters in the name of the deceased Dernet? And does the Lake Basin hide something even more valuable than saffron? An adventure story in the tradition of Jaroslav Foglar.
