His third marriage to Anna Svídnicka made up for everything and the young queen became his great love.

Hundreds of famous historical figures pass through Charles's life, and their extraordinary fates and exciting life stories have not gone unheard. He knew important European monarchs and knights, church dignitaries, but also an artist, builder, a scholar - and thanks to his outstanding rulership and scholarship he was able to realize not only the dreams of his father John, but also your own, truly noble royal intentions.

Archbishop Arnost of Pardubice, the painter Theodoric, the poet Petrarca, and above all the Roman tribune Cola di Rienzo, who, along with Charles, lived through his glory days and even tried to win the imperial crown for himself, played an important role in his personal life. Eventually, expelled from Rome by a papal conspiracy, he found refuge with Charles in Prague and later found protection at the final acquittal at Avignon. Upon his return to Rome, Cola regains power, but is literally torn apart by an angry mob in a popular uprising as Charles crosses the border into Italy on his coronation ride, thus completing his destiny as ruler and lord of the world. The coronation in Rome, despite its dangerous and adventurous vicissitudes, was a clear confirmation of his imperial majesty.
