Employment law for non-lawyers

The publication is intended for managers of both business and other entities (non-profit and contributory organizations) who manage human resources as part of their management practice. The reader should find in this book answers to his/her questions concerning the application of individual laws, especially from the employer's perspective. The main themes of the publication will be analyses of the provisions that cause problems in practice or risks for employers. The publication will respect the structure of the laws under discussion, taking tried and tested opinions, recommendations, models, and practical analyses of case law. However, it is not the purpose of the publication to provide the reader with a full citation of the law with commentary. The strength of the publication is the maximum interconnection of theoretical background with the author's rich managerial and lecturing experience and at the same time with the experience of applying both theoretical and practical knowledge within individual types of organizations and at individual levels of management.
