Establishment of the Czechoslovakia 1918
Life in a small town at the end of the war is not full of any wild events, but tension is omnipresent. Who else will be drafted before the war is over? Does the postman bring a letter from the husband from the front, or an official notification that he has fallen? Where do we get flour, potatoes, milk? What do we flood with? And in the process, Bára discovers that she is old enough to be shot for treason for one sentence. The timeline in the table of events leading up to the founding of our state in 1918 will help all children understand the historical context.
