London, Chelsea fashion district. A lavish house on the waterfront and in it a cradle with a fed and contented baby waiting to be held.
One floor down, in the kitchen, there are three decomposing corpses. Who's been taking care of the baby so far? And where did he go?
Excellent to read, interesting and nice story.
A disturbing, chilling family saga that will make every hair on your body stand up as you read it. Not for nothing is Lisa Jewell my favourite author, she has once again demonstrated her art here with bravura! I read this book with great enthusiasm, the story is very compelling, gripping and then again the ending. He makes you think!
The story has a novel plot. A grand old house in a wealthy part of Chelsea with a cradle and a baby, and three dead bodies in black robes one floor down.
Read on, friends, you won't regret it!
A gripping story from the first sentence. It makes you read on and on to find out as soon as possible how it actually was. At the same time, the only thing that scares you is that you'll finish the book and the bar will be pretty damn high, and it will take a long time before you're engrossed in another book this perfectly.
A terrifying story that will grab you and let you go after you've read it. And even then, you won't forget it for a long time.
