František Hrubín: About Nosáček

When the royal parents have a son with a big nose, the king decrees that everyone's noses are to be picked. Who wants to be noble must have a long nose! The most beautiful nose is the longest one! This is what the prince is conditioned to believe, and so it is no wonder that as a young man he comes to despise those who have small noses. Even by your own parents. But what if he falls in love with a princess with a button nose?! Persons and cast: Ilja Prachar (King), Jiřina Jirásková (Queen), Jan Čenský (Prince Nosáček), Jolana Zelinková (Princess Liběnka), Miloš Kopecký (Chamber President), Věra Kubánková (fairy)Director: Karel Weinlich.
