Games for the development of partial functions in children
You know that even for „ fidgeting“ and „ naughtiness“ children can become sub-functions? If not, you are holding the right book. And why do games play a major role in the development of sub-functions? Because there is nothing more natural for a child than play.
The first part of the book introduces you to the concept of partial functions, showing you with examples where to look for them and what can cause them to mature unevenly. In the second part of the book, the world of stories of little Anita, a little girl just like the children in your class, awaits you. Anička guides children through ten stories – ten lessons, gives them various fun tasks and plays games with them. All lessons have the same structure, the tasks used are chosen and arranged to respect the developmental sequence. Stories with children and fairy tale characters are used as motivation. The book is ideal for collective work with preschoolers from the age of five (or as young as four) and for first graders with uneven educational performance.
