Gatekeepers

2012 was a mistake.

The old mathematicians and astrologers were fatally mistaken. The end of the world is yet to come. When and where will the millennium party break out?

They have waited over 400 years for 2017. The moment when a transdimensional hole between worlds beyond time and space will open in Prague is approaching. Karma will be disturbed and misused. The ancient European orders, founded in the time of Rudolf II, aware of the coming end of the world long before the sensationalist media warned of it, want to cut as much as they can from the magical cake of Prague's genius loci for themselves.

The Czech branch of the top-secret order takes it as a patriotic duty to defend the capital against the horde of foreign mages craving for power and thus protect it from collapse and destruction. Who would want Cthulhu running around Wenceslas Square while Marduk and Baal play hide-and-seek in the ruins of Prague Castle?
Will a handful of Czech X-men manage to protect mother Prague from an almost irreversible fate?
