General Pavel in interviews with Jolana Voldánová

Jolana Voldánová's raw and honest interview with General Petr Pavel

The experienced moderator does not shy away from any topics - her childhood, social views, membership in the Communist Party, her experience in NATO and the reasons why General Petr Pavel decided to run for the presidency.

".... it may seem self-deprecating or hopeless, but I just want to try to turn a bad mood into a good mood. And I think that it can be done, and I think that it can be helped a lot just by unsticking the top first. Because when people see what is happening in this country and in politics right now, they must be really disgusted. But if it's different and people at least start to feel that the rules apply to everyone and that there is a possibility to come up with a good idea and not be punished for it right away, and then when such an idea gets the green light, things will start to move forward a bit. And I think that then the bad mood we have here today could slowly change."
