Great times

Katje is forty-four, lives single and has pretty much everything a woman needs: a comfortable apartment, a prestigious job and friends she's comfortable with. And then she gets a call from her friend Doris, saying she's found her mother wandering the streets in confusion. Katja leaves everything behind and returns to her hometown.

It's a bit much for her, though. Getting ahead in a job where everyone is younger than her is a challenge. In her new apartment, there is a surprise waiting for her almost every day, both in the person of the landlord and the other residents of the house, and thanks to the dysfunctional and outdated equipment. In addition, he has to deal not only with taking care of his mother, but also with the problems of his brother, who has abandoned his family and is now hiding from the relatives of his young Turkish mistress.

Up until now, she has lived quite selfishly, and suddenly she has to take care of a lot of people around her. But she understands that true friends are those who survive not only the good times but also the bad.
