Filip Rožek is the author of the literary and film phenomenon Gump. Already in high school he was interested in creative work, so in 1994 he joined the production department of TV Nova. He soon became a dramaturg in the entertainment editorial department, then worked on his career development in the new format development department. He has been actively involved with the Animal Protection League since he was 18 years old. In 2016, he co-founded the organization With Dogs I Enjoy the World, which helps abused and abandoned dogs find their happiness on Earth. Filip Rožek has a daughter Natálka, who has been interested in helping animals since she was a little girl. And so is her character Nata Strawberry in the book Gump - The Dog Who Taught People How to Live (2021). The book won the Magnezia Litera award, was made into a film and a sequel called Gump: We're number two (2023). formats.
