In a forbidden area of the Bohemian Forest, around the Křemelná River, ancient legends begin to awaken in the late 1970s. Border guards are reporting an increasing number of unknown light phenomena. Suspicions of a potential enemy plot from the West grow. And the ancient tales of will-o'-the-wisps and incorporeal beings spread through the region once more. A scientific expedition is sent to the area, which has been inaccessible for decades, to investigate the mysterious apparitions. The scientists believe they will find a rational explanation, but perhaps they are the ones who will lose their minds in the middle of the Bohemian Forest's peat bogs. Are these truly natural phenomena, or is something dark toying with them? Each of them carries the past of their own and their ancestors in their soul—and this land does not forget. This time, the Bohemian Forest itself will seek revenge.
Petra Klabouchová
(born 1980) comes from Prachatice. She studied media relations and journalism at Masaryk University in Brno. For several years, she worked in regional press and television newsrooms. She now divides her time between Italy, the United States of America, and the Czech Republic, working in the music industry and managing several rock bands. She is the author of the two-part series for children, *Upíří storky — Prokletí upírů* (Vampire Stories — The Curse of the Vampires) and *Nebezpečná výprava* (A Dangerous Expedition) (2014). In the past, she has published the novels *Poslední kubánské pomeranče* (The Last Cuban Oranges) (2012), *Podvod zlatého faraona* (The Golden Pharaoh's Fraud) (2019), and the thriller *Anglická zahrada* (The English Garden) (2020). Among her most successful books is the detective story set in the Bohemian Forest, *Prameny Vltavy* (The Springs of the Vltava) (2021), for which she received the Johann Steinbrener Award. In 2023, she published the novel *U severní zdi* (At the Northern Wall) and the rock underworld tales *Na plný koule* (Full Throttle). In 2024, she released the horror story from the magical Bohemian Forest, *Ignis fatuus*.

Klára Suchá
After studying at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU), she joined the Moravian Theatre in Olomouc, where she portrayed many notable roles. She then guest-starred at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice and the Estates Theatre in Prague. In 2015, she hosted the show *Zprávičky* on ČT:D for Czech Television. Besides theatre, she is captivated by radio work—she has appeared in numerous plays and dramatisations under the direction of well-known directors, with whom she continues to collaborate.
Aleš Procházka
A graduate of DAMU, he spent sixteen years at the Divadlo pod Palmovkou, where he shone in dozens of roles. Today, he can be seen on the stage of the Vinohrady Theatre. His face is familiar to audiences from a number of television series, and outside of theatre, his favourite activity is radio work. In dubbing, he has lent his distinctive voice to many stars—Tom Hanks, Kevin Spacey—and also voiced Agent Cooper in Lynch's cult series *Twin Peaks* and Severus Snape in the series of film adaptations of the Harry Potter stories.
