" They say that the meaning of life is to be happy. By my bad decision in the 1990s, I deprived myself of that happiness, when I spent the best years of my life in a cold prison cell, mostly in solitary confinement. Despite this, I never lost the strength to go on, not even when I heard the verdict of life imprisonment at the Prešov court. It wasn' t the happy moments in my life that made me strong, but the sad and difficult ones. During the quarter of a century spent in prison, I had to overcome many sad moments and difficult obstacles, and those were the ones that pushed me forward and made me stronger. However, I dare to say that not everyone can overcome such obstacles, and therefore let this story of mine be a memento for young people, who must remember that before making such a wrong decision to embark on the path of crime, the consequences of such a decision are very harsh and irreversible, and even crying will not help.
“The purpose of this book is not to justify my crimes that I committed in the 1990s, nor to blame me for those crimes. I myself, after seventeen years of silence, decided to confess my dark past. Another ten years have passed since then. This book gives the reader a different perspective. In it, we bring you an overview of facts and evidence about how far those who are supposed to ensure the right to a fair trial for every citizen in this state were able to go. With this book, we also bring the reader a picture of how some of the investigators and prosecutors who dealt with my cases took on the role of judges when they turned murderers into witnesses. "
" My biggest regret is that I missed the train that took me to organized crime. "
