Into the darkness

"Confessions of a Czech Soldier in Afghanistan"

It is an original, and all the more thrilling, personal narrative of a Czech soldier who fully and without exaggeration describes his life from his initial motivation to joining the army. We experience with him the troubles through the difficult training and six months of deployment in Afghanistan, to the struggle with severe illness after returning home...

TAKE CARE! The book doesn't present any depictions of the making of a superhero... it's primarily a story of a person!

Audiobook narrated by the captivating voice of actor Otakar Brousek Jr. chronicles the growth of a young man from post-pubescent maturity to adult soldier who had to go through a difficult series of professional and life trials. He had to overcome the difficult traps that fate unexpectedly threw in his way - and then, above all, to find himself.

P. S: And a little gift for listeners of this riveting audiobook: you will also hear with your own ears the original voice of the warrior, and in the words of Mirek Žamboch, the "Warrior", Major Pavel Stehlik.
