Social psychology is conceived as an integral science of human behaviour, which should be viewed as the most organically complex level of life processes.
This publication presents selected topics in social psychology, which it unites under the applied form of so-called social effectiveness, the manifestation of which is socio-psychological synergy. Social effectiveness is a theoretical model that connects various approaches in social psychology.
The author structures the explanation according to spatially defined areas of behaviour (the individual, the group, and society). This spatial perspective is complemented by a temporal plane, in which he follows the individual stages of development (biological determinants, socialisation factors, ethical aspects of individuation). The third plane is represented by ethics (the relationship between hedonism and eudaimonia).
The explanation also draws on insights from anthropology, philosophy, economics, history, religious studies, and ethics. This publication is therefore intended not only for students of social psychology but also for anyone interested in related social science disciplines.
