Originally a theatrical comedy by the Czech writer and dissident Ivan Klíma from 1973, it is a brilliant and eloquent satire of the communist regime. It was not until after the November Revolution that it could be performed on the radio. The play was directed in 1990 by Jana Klimentová under the dramaturgy of Dušan Všelicha and starred excellent actors: Michal Pavlata, Tomas Töpfer, Jana Synková, Vlastimil Brodsky, Pavel Soukup, Sobeslav Sejk, Sonia Dvořáková, Martin Velda and Milan Neděla.
