Ivan Škapa: The comedy of the hawk
A humorous story from the times when the characters from the realm of myths still had a form not only dreamed of. A single story for the seven watermen who inhabit the same pond. The oldest of them is the waterman Vrbovec, played by František Filipovský, directed by Jiří Horčička. His fellow hawks are the watermen Dušek (Jiří Sovák), Náhon (Ferdinand Krůta), Stulík (Ivo Gübel), Proudník (Václav Lohniský) and Hlubinka played by Jaroslav Kepka. The youngest is the waterman Kapička, played by Viktor Preiss.
Ivan Škapa wrote this story in 1976, where the actions of fairy-tale creatures in all their ways remind us of the world of real people.
