Jiří Bednář: Pets
An original Czech musical by Václav Zahradník and Pavel Vrba, which was successfully performed for several seasons at the Musical Theatre in Karlín. It premiered in February 1974, and in the autumn of the same year a radio version was made, directed by the experienced Karel Weinlich. Some of the actors from the Karlin production also played in the radio version, such as Dana Matějková as Helena, Laďka Kozderková as Marcela or Karel Fiala as Johnny Chaloupka. The director cast other roles with more well-known personalities, such as Jiří Sovák as the manager of the shop and Miloš Kopecký as the director of Malík.
