Jiří Trnka: Five Boys, a Cat and a Whale
When something is just like, it's not really like that, even though it could be, and when that something finds itself in a fairy tale, it's okay, even though it shouldn't be.
If this seems a bit crazy, then take it as an invitation to a fairy tale in which everything is a little bit and a little bit not, including five boys, a cat and a whale. Inspired by Jiří Trnka's book "The Garden", the story takes us to an old and deserted garden, where one big happy boy's adventure takes place. A story with an excellent cast: Blanka Bohdanová, Jiřina Bohdalová, Viktor Preiss, Josef Dvořák, Vladimír Brabec and others, directed and adapted by Jiří Horčička.
