Journey from the scaffold

A documentary play based on authentic sources, conveying the feelings and thoughts of Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, one of the greatest literary creators of the last century. What were Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky's feelings as he returned to St. Petersburg after nearly a decade of imprisonment and exile in Siberia? Where did his first steps lead him? Radio scriptwriter and journalist Marie Šedivá answered these questions in a documentary play that extensively quotes from Dostoevsky's correspondence, friends' memoirs, and contemporary sources. In this radio production, directed by Dobroslav Zborník in 1986, the main roles were played by František Husák and Rudolf Hrušínský.
