Linking production and information systems in practice

Are you considering further ways to increase your company's prosperity? Do you want to improve the efficiency and quality of production planning and management in your company? Are you looking for a tool to help you manage changes in your internal company processes? Do you need to strengthen your company's customer focus? Well-organised and interconnected company processes are the foundation of all a company's activities, especially for a manufacturing company. Understanding their proper function within the company's organisational structure must be the first step when considering organising changes within the company. Changes must be directed towards fulfilling the company goals that you have defined in advance. Within such a prepared environment, it is also possible to consider changing the information system, which will provide maximum support for these processes and also manage them. Everything is connected to the phenomenon of change, but above all, everything is linked to the concerns and complications that every change brings and provokes. If you want to avoid them as much as possible, or at least minimise them, you must prepare well.

Thanks to this book, you will discover how to correctly connect the world of manufacturing companies with the world of information systems. You will also learn which rules and procedures to follow when preparing company processes for manufacturing firms, or how to select and implement a suitable information system to manage them.

The author draws on his extensive practical experience, and this book can therefore be an inspiration not only for those facing a similar change, but for anyone interested in this topic.
