Matty the Kitten and the Forgotten Toys

Can a plush heart experience a real adventure?
Matty isn't an ordinary kitten. He has salmon-coloured fur and a smile that could brighten even the darkest corner of the toy shop. But on the shop shelf, nobody understands him. “You’re too different,” say the other toys. And so, one day, Matty decides to take a brave leap – he runs away into the big, unknown world to find a place where he truly belongs.
On his journey, he meets loyal friends: Baryk, the wise St. Bernard; a delicate little cat called Jůlinka; a fluffy bear named Bonifác; and a muddled piglet, Ferda. Together, they must face the wicked cat Šmudla, a dangerous bull, and a raging river. Matty soon discovers that the world isn't just a fairytale, but that with courage in his heart and friends by his side, even the greatest obstacles can be overcome.
A touching story about finding a home, about inner strength, and about how our scrapes and patches are actually badges of bravery.

The story in this book was born from a desire to show children that beauty lies in our uniqueness. I want to remind them that every difference has its own irreplaceable place in this world. It doesn't matter how different we are from others – each of us deserves love, acceptance, and respect.

Join Matty on a path lined with daisies to a place where the sun in your heart never sets.
