License External Connector

The Windows Server External Connector license entitles external users to access the corresponding server software. Unlike the Windows Server license, this is an access-only license. This license entitles an unlimited number of external users to access the server. This is a typical solution for online stores, where it would be too costly to count on allocating individual Windows Server CALs for every customer who ever uses them.

The External Connector license cannot be used as a replacement for the internal CAL license!
