Murders in the spa

Spa relaxation and therapeutic procedures are unexpectedly disrupted by a brutal series of crimes

People go to spas for their beneficial healing effects, to find new opportunities, for social activities, but often for all three combined. And sometimes, also to commit murder. Retired Chief Inspector Adam Gregori arrives at the spa primarily for treatment. He is delighted by the surroundings and the effects of the therapy, but the blissful peace only lasts until the first, and then a second, murder occurs, causing great alarm among the guests.

The investigation is taken over by the not-so-competent Inspector Bohouš Machovec, nicknamed 'Flash Joe', who once investigated the murder of Gregori's wife and accused Gregori himself. However, there's no time for old disputes, because the mineral baths are bubbling and the killer is choosing their next victim. Gregori reluctantly gets entangled in the investigation, which reopens old wounds and tests his skills and instincts.
