My story on behalf of POLICE
How does the Czech police really work, on what principles are its daily activities based, what demands are placed on the work of ordinary police officers? With each year I served, I became more convinced that something was wrong. And really. It's not!
The open testimony of a quite ordinary policeman who had been a member of the Police of the Czech Republic for less than twelve years. The author draws on his personal experience and describes the gradual process by which he became a police officer. He reports on all that he has continually learned about what police work really entails. He explains why he made the decision to go into civilian life in the first place. He presents his own picture of the Czech police and its current form to the readers in an unobscured and unpretentious manner.
The book explains in no uncertain terms the most fundamental reasons why it is so difficult to be a police officer in this country and in this day and age. It is intended for anyone who wants to know something about the Czech Police that is deliberately hidden, and the author believes it must be told.
