In some crimes, it can take several years to catch the perpetrators, and sometimes they can even go unpunished even if the crime is solved. Because of the statute of limitations, murderers can often breathe a sigh of relief and stop looking over their shoulders years later.

The association Nepromlčíme draws attention to such cases and presents them to the public through short documents, articles and now this publication. In it you will find, among other things, the story of young women, who were brutally murdered and had their organs removed, Honzik, who left to play with a friend, but it never reached him, or your favorite teacher, who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, some cases from abroad give us hope that even after many years the perpetrator can be found.

According to psychiatrist Cyril Höschl, catching the guilty party has a therapeutic effect on the victims and survivors, in addition to its other functions in society. It shows them that justice can be done.
