Odyssea
Following the successful books Mythos, Heroes and Troy, Fry concludes his series on the Greek myths
Stephen Fry returns to the world of Greek myths for the last time. After the fall of Troy, he follows the fates of the heroes who long to return to the warmth of their family homes, but the fickle gods have other plans for them. For some, only more trouble, betrayal and death await them at home—and this, as we have come to expect from the ancient Greeks, sets in motion a seemingly unstoppable cycle of blood feuds, intrigues and curses. But no one's journey home will be quite like Odysseus's. It is as if the gods themselves have prepared the most treacherous mix of trials and temptations for the most cunning of the Greek warriors, gradually stripping him of his spoils of war, his fleet, his loyal comrades, his clothes, and almost his sanity, before he finally glimpses his beloved Ithaca on the horizon once more.
