Percy Jackson - The Last of the Gods
Half boy. half god. Total Percy Jackson
My name is Percy Jackson... My 16th birthday is coming up. However, at Camp Half-Blood, we are not planning a celebration, but an expedition to war. And instead of congratulations, I heard the ancient dark prophecy that everyone had kept from me for so long. A battle that could mean the end of the world begins innocently enough when the mythical horse Pegasus lands on the hood of my car.
Will it finally be revealed who is on the side of good and who has joined the ruler of darkness? Who will not survive the war and who will emerge as a hero?
The struggle to preserve civilization begins!
Rick Riordan
He was born in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He taught high school English and history in California for a number of years. He would tell stories from Greek mythology to his son Haley, who asked him if he could invent something new with the same characters - and thus was born a five-volume series with the main character Percy Jackson, for which the author has won numerous literary awards. His other series draw on Egyptian or Norse mythology, for example. Riordan's books have been translated into more than forty languages.
