The third, completely revised and supplemented edition of this successful publication comprehensively deals with the above mentioned issues. The monograph by the authors from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University and both Brno University Hospitals is designed as a modern practical guide to cardiovascular pharmacotherapy. The individual drug groups are listed here: drugs that block the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, alphablockers and central agonists, vasodilators, nitrates, diuretic, cardiac glycosides, inotropic substances and sympathomimetics, antithrombotics, antiarrhythmics, hypolipidemics and other drugs in cardiology.
