Playful yoga for children
The book is an adapted bilingual version of the book Playful Yoga for Children, which was previously published in Czech. It is simplified and focused on communication with children, both in Czech and Ukrainian. The main goal is for all children to practice together and still enrich themselves with different words.
Almost overnight, we had a situation where many mothers and young children from Ukraine unexpectedly came among us. They found themselves in unfamiliar places and unexpected situations. However, Czech kindergartens and schools have also found themselves in an unexpected situation, as Ukrainian children have begun attending them. This book belongs to mothers, tutors, teachers and all those who are interested in practicing and enriching themselves with Ukrainian and Czech words.
It is important to let children play, laugh, learn and maybe even practice together. Just playing and practicing together can be the beginning of establishing a nice relationship and mutual understanding. It is not necessary to know many words to understand each other. A smile, a grimace, a movement or symbolism is enough. Playful yoga is based on symbolism – imitating animals, their movements, but also their characteristics. It is simple to understand, but at the same time it can help to learn the language – Czech and Ukrainian. Learning new words, comparing them with each other is also a game that can be fun for children.
