This publication is for anyone who struggles with Czech grammar, particularly with the correct usage and identification of the vowels i/y. It summarises the methods and advice that the author has used for many years of teaching, where a brief, clear, concise, and simplified approach was necessary. It seeks to explain this tricky and, for some, hard-to-understand area of grammar using unconventional methods that differ from classic teaching and standard recommendations. In the book, you will learn the colour-coding method for consonants, which helps you understand the principle of correctly using and identifying the letters i/y in enumerated words, nouns, adjectives, and verbs. A separate chapter, which includes helpful illustrations, is dedicated to writing enumerated verbs. The pictures here serve as mnemonic devices, making it easier for you to remember and later recall the specific enumerated words. This title is primarily intended for primary school pupils, excluding first-graders who have not yet covered this material. Second-grade pupils should initially only work with the introductory chapters, leaving the rest of the material for later years. However, the publication can also be used by secondary school pupils who have long-term difficulties with identifying and using i/y. The author recommends working through the entire publication from the beginning, as the individual steps of the teaching methods build on each other.
