Prague Humoresky during the Austrian Empire
Enter the world of the golden era of Old Prague humour, where history combines with a smile. This exclusive collection of five audiobooks will take you through the streets of old Prague, where the funniest stories took place under the splendour of the imperial majesty, full of humanity and typical Czech humour that has long since conquered the world.
Experience the incredible true story of the authentic Schweyk, which the renowned artist and nobleman Franz Gilles von Jilek introduces to you in his radio play based on historical sources and under artistic license.
Immerse yourself in humorous autobiographical tales of life in old Prague with the affectionate short stories Infusorie and Grandfather Koller by the Prague native Rudolf Slawitschek.
Let yourself be enchanted and guided through the most secretive place of Prague Castle with the masterful narration of another Lesser Town native Jan Neruda in the short story St.Wenceslas Mass, and finally have fun with the unexpectedly sharp satire of Jaroslav Hašek in his work Estates Differences.
Total footage: 95 minutes of pure enjoyment of old Prague stories with humour and suspense, originating in real events
This collection is a perfect blend of classic and fine literature and great acting interpretations that will guarantee you a unique experience.
