It offers an overview of not only historical but also contemporary electric-powered railway vehicles that have been (or still are) in operation on the railway networks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The authors also pay attention to mass-produced vehicles or vehicle series that went straight into production without any prototypes. For greater clarity, the locomotive series in the book are arranged numerically and chronologically. Of course, it also includes unique period and contemporary photographs, drawings and interesting technical data.
