A serial killer is burning his victims in the prehistoric stone circles of the Lake District. He leaves no clues behind, and the police are baffled. About the Author, M. W. Craven
A British author of crime novels and thrillers. A probation officer. M. W. Craven was born in Carlisle but grew up in Newcastle, which he ran away from at the tender age of sixteen to join the army. He spent the next ten years travelling the world and having fun. In 1995, he decided to study social work, specialising in criminology and substance abuse. At thirty-one, he became a probation officer in Whitehaven, where he eventually worked his way up to a management position. Sixteen years later, he decided to take a chance, and after being made redundant, he became a full-time writer.
