Purple darkness
The northern day is in danger, the purple darkness is coming.
The northern day is in chaos. Endless rain and the blood of the crucified pour through the streets. The government and the Church have fallen and the members of the mysterious Svit are taking over. But something even more sinister is coming: A purple darkness, a twenty-eight day long night during which ghosts emerge from the woods and ancient labyrinths reveal the skeletons of unimaginable creatures.
In order to turn the tide, former Prospector Julius and the leader of the criminal Vicram Syndicate must undertake an expedition to the Northern Territories, where unpredictable bioconstructs are hidden. Gifted with superhuman abilities, Cora and her escaped companion Hana set out to save Rovini, Jezerem and the Rock City from a deadly disease.
On their journey across the stormy ocean and the ice crags, they will be accompanied by a thousand-year-old cephalopod and machines the likes of which have never been seen before. But will it be enough? In Nacho's darkness it is easy to get lost... and much harder to escape.
Ondřej Blaho
He was born in 1983 in Prague, but has been living in Brno for the last few years. He wanted to study journalism, but ended up at law school, which he did not finish even after six years of lukewarm efforts. Today he is a co-owner of a construction company and writing for him, along with photography, is the best relaxation. From a young age, he liked to stray from reality into the worlds depicted in fantasy and science fiction books, and later found a taste for existential and philosophical literature. So far he has written about five dozen short or longer stories, but it was only during the covid-19 pandemic that he decided to realize his dream and wrote the novel North Day. He is currently working on the second part of a planned trilogy and two other books in parallel. Besides writing, he is also a photographer (street photography, abstraction) and spends a lot of time diving.
