Raymond Radiguet: The Devil in the Flesh
The story of a young student's love for a married woman during World War I. David Novotný reads from a psychological novel about a young student's scandalous and unequal love for an older married woman during World War I, the most famous book by Raymond Radiguet, considered the prodigy of French prose. The story of the passionate love between a 16-year-old and an older woman whose husband is fighting in the trenches of the First World War. The love triangle is cut apart by the death of his lover and wife, who dies giving birth to a child. The former film adaptation starring Gerard Philip also remains in my memory.
