Recipe for the right one

A touch of luck and a handful of fate.

Ruby Brooks is a bit skeptical at first when her horoscope tells her she's going to have a fabulous year. Especially when she loses her boyfriend and her job in quick succession. And to make matters worse, the villainous kitchen fitter ran away and took everything with him, including the kitchen sink!

So Ruby takes her luck and fate into her own hands with an unusual resolution - to enter ten competitions a day, either for a dream Japanese holiday or a year's supply of dog food (she has no dog), and to fight her way to happiness in any way she can.

But when a Valentine's Day prize from a local restaurant brings chef Adam Finder (and his dog Brutus) into her life, is it luck or fate? And will Ruby eventually discover that real happiness is not to be won?

A new romantic comedy that will thrill fans of Jo Watson or Rachel Lynn Solomon.
