(R)evolutionary economics

The respected economist Tomáš Sedláček invited the American anarchist David Graeber, one of the leaders of the Occupy movement, but also a renowned anthropologist and author of the world bestseller Debt: the first 5000 years.

(R)EVOLUTIONARY ECONOMICS: ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND PEOPLE is a clash of two perspectives on the viability of the system we live in. A fair discussion reflects the increasingly frequently asked question: Is it possible to just repair the current house, or is it better (or inevitable) to tear it down and build a new one a little further away? The interview offers a digestible, inspiring and at times provocative reflection on topics that move the world. Tomáš Sedláček, the author of the international bestseller The Economy of Good and Evil, is given the opportunity to present his views in a new context, which is clearly to his liking.

The book is loosely based on the successful first volume of the Double edition, The Twilight of Homo Economicus. Tomáš Sedláček's interview with the Canadian mathematician David Orrell sparked debate in professional and lay circles, was translated into three languages and was also published as an audiobook.
