School for Talents: Monster on the Horizon!
When lessons turn into an adventure
Welcome to the SCHOOL FOR TALENTS! In this boarding school on a mysterious, remote island, all the children have fantastic abilities. They can shapeshift, understand animal speech, control water… and so on!
Alva is gradually getting used to the School for Talents and is starting to feel good here. She's even getting on better with her roommate. They're just starting a new project, where they'll be searching for fossils in the cliffs on the coast of Fog Island. But who do the huge tracks in the sand on the beach belong to? And who knocked down all of Doctor Hoof's fences during the night? Alva is a little scared by it all. Is there a monster hiding on the island?
Normal lessons? You're mistaken! Chaos? That's an everyday occurrence! Do you want to solve mysteries and have adventures? Then you've definitely come to the right place!
An exciting and fun book with short chapters and many illustrations for girls and boys aged 8 and up.
Silke Schellhammer
Silke Schellhammer grew up in a large family where many stories were told. They weren't necessarily true, but they were always good. The wonder of how great real and imagined events can coexist and that reality is ultimately a matter of perception led her to start writing.
