Screening and diagnosis of breast cancer

The book responds to the rapid changes in the diagnosis and screening of breast cancer in the Czech Republic and Europe in the last ten years. Authors from various disciplines have treated a range of topics in a concise and clear manner.

The publication includes chapters on epidemiology, screening and diagnostics in practice, screening results in our country, histopathology, heredity, risk factors, the influence of hormones, testing methods and interventions and tumor markers. Chapters on the differential diagnosis of breast cancer in young women, pregnant and breastfeeding women, patients with breast implants and men are also included.
