Shallow grave

In the fourth installment of the crime series by Scottish author J. D. Kirk' s investigation takes Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan and his team to the picturesque Glencoe Valley. However, the police can only dream of a rural idyll, because the crime that took place here is more than heinous.

While searching for a missing hiker, the mountain rescue service comes across a body. There wouldn' t be anything so strange about it if it weren' t for someone completely different.

The usual cycle of investigation begins, during which the victim' s dark past slowly surfaces and casts a shadow of suspicion on the local dubious existences. Is organized crime behind the brutal murder of a young man from a remote mountain village?

Jack will have to solve this mystery. But if he' s not careful, it won' t just be a strange murder he' ll have to deal with in Glencoe.
