Sherlock Holmes: The Unfaithful Wife
The ninth mini-series deals with the case of an unfaithful woman, Sarah Viner, whose husband asks Sherlock Holmes for proof of her infidelity. However, from the very beginning, Holmes suspects a much more complex and dangerous story is hiding behind it. After Sarah's brutal murder and her husband's subsequent accusation, the detective begins an investigation that uncovers a web of lies, manipulation, and fear. Gradually, a connection to an influential noble family comes to light. Holmes faces resistance from the police and mysterious forces trying to cover up the case. The investigation leads him to the victim's mysterious past and to people who are disappearing or dying.
